London, Geneva, and Luxembourg, 04th of March 2025 – Icona Capital, an alternative investment group based out of London and Luxembourg, and Stoneweg, a real estate investment group headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, announce they will operate under the new SWI Group brand, which will have over EUR 10 billion in combined AUM.

Icona Capital and Stoneweg recently completed the acquisition of the Cromwell Property Group’s European fund management platform and associated co-investments, including 27.8% of Cromwell European REIT, which totals €3.9 billion of real estate assets under management, for a total consideration of €280 million. The acquisition was undertaken with the purpose of providing growth, scale and product diversification as a leading alternative platform.
New talent recently joined SWI Group and have collaborated closely to adapt the strategy and company mission to elevate growth opportunities, become more scalable and optimize investment opportunities.
SWI Group will continue its business activities split across two defined business lines, Stoneweg Real Assets, and Icona Alternatives. Stoneweg Real Assets will primarily focus its strategies across Living, Hospitality, Logistics, Offices, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Data Centers, and Experiential Ventures. Icona Alternatives will work across Private Equity, Venture Capital, Special Situations, Liquid Strategy, Private Credit, Sports & Entertainment.
