SWI Digital, a wholly owned subsidiary of SWI Group, has acquired an additional 4.4% equity
interest in GDA from funds managed by Stone Ridge Asset Management. The proposed
acquisition represents a strategically significant opportunity to further consolidate SWI Digital’s
ownership and control of GDA to over 70%.
London / Amsterdam – July 17, 2026 – Euronext Amsterdam-listed SWI Group (“SWI”;
SWICH) today announced a binding agreement to acquire an additional 4,4% shareholding in
Genesis Digital Assets Limited (“GDA”), one of the largest privately-held digital infrastructure
companies, with operations primarily in the USA.
The shares acquired from Stone Ridge take SWI Digital’s holding in GDA to over 70%, and result
in a combined transatlantic footprint of over 3.6 GW of AI-ready digital infrastructure capacity.
Working with the management, SWI Digital will implement their strategy to reposition the assets
of GDA from digital mining operations to high-performance computing and AI workloads.
“Growing our shareholding in GDA allows the group to further push SWI Digital to become a
globally significant player in the field of Digital Infrastructure. Our vision for SWI Digital is to grow
across multiple verticals, creating a fully integrated digital platform, from land ownership through
to the provision of compute capacity.” Said Max-Hervé George, Founder and Chief Executive
Officer of SWI Group.
